  India 1. According to G. Kishan Reddy, Minister of Trade Unions for Tourism, Culture and DoNER, how much money has been approved by the union government under the PRASHAD program to increase tourism in the North East region _________ $ 200. 

Note: ➢ G. Kishan Reddy stated that under the Swedish Darshan Scheme, which focuses on integrated development of strategic tourism circuits, the Department has approved 16 projects in the Northeastern region. 


➢ Under the PRASHAD program the department has harvested a number of projects in the region. 


➢ Approximately R200 million has been approved for these projects 2. Which company has partnered with the National Health Authority as a card processing service provider issued under the Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) program ________ BLS International.

1. Which state/union territories has launched Rural Enterprises Acceleration Programme titled 'Saath' for Self Help Group (SHG) women ________ Jammu & Kashmir. 


Note: 

➢ Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha launched Rural Enterprises Acceleration Programme titled 'Saath' for Self Help Group (SHG) women.

 ➢ This Saath initiative will stress on mentoring and market linkages of products created by these women. 

➢ This will transform the lives of these women and make them independent and strong in social and financial aspects. 


2. Which state government has decided to rename Rajiv Gandhi National Park as Orang National Park ________ Assam. Note: 

➢ The Assam cabinet passed a resolution regarding this.

 ➢ Covering an area of 79.28 sq km, it was declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1985, and a national park in 1999. 

➢ The Orang National Park is often referred to as mini Kaziranga of Assam is also a Tiger reserve. 


3. Which state/union territories has declared the black-necked crane and snow leopard as their state bird and animal respectively _______ Ladakh.


 Note:

 ➢ Black-necked crane, only found in Ladakh region was previously the state bird of the former state of J&K, along with Hangul as the state animal.

 ➢ The crane was chosen as the state bird since it is only found in the eastern region of Ladakh. 

➢ The snow leopards are mainly found in the western and eastern regions of the Himalayas, including Ladakh, J&K, Himachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. 


4. Which state government has launched two ambitious schemes; ‘AtmaNirbhar Krishi Yojna’ and ‘AtmaNirbhar Bagwani Yojna’ ________ Arunachal Pradesh. 


Note: 

➢ A total amount of 120 cr – 60 crore rupees for each scheme – has been allocated to the two concerned departments of Agriculture and Horticulture. 

➢ These 2 schemes are unique as these are both based on front-ended subsidies.

➢ Credit link will be provided to the beneficiaries by SBI, Arunachal Pradesh Rural Bank and Arunachal Pradesh Cooperative Apex Bank.


 5. Which State has launched an e-ILP platform to regulate entry and exit _______ Sikkim. 


Note:

 ➢ The e-ILP platform will play a vital role in regulating the entry, exit and tracking of visitors who are overstaying beyond the permitted duration.

 ➢ The e-ILP tracking system had been developed to mend the loopholes in the procedures adopted to issue the permit and its tracking system.


 6. Which state government plan to set up India’s first Dugong Conservation Reserve _______ Tamil Nadu. 


Note: 

➢ The reserve will span the northern part of the Palk Bay from Adiramapattinam to Amapattinam. 

➢ Marine biologists and conservationists have long demanded a reserve as the population of dugongs, as known as sea cows, in Indian waters has been dropping to dangerous levels. 


7. Which state government has launched Vatan Prem Yojana ________ Gujarat. Note: ➢ The governing body of the Vatan Prem Yojana’s society had met in Gandhinagar under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Vijay Rupani.

 ➢ A presentation of details of the scheme was made before Rupani.

 ➢ A project management unit has been formed for the smooth implementation of the scheme 8. Which state government to set up International Education Department ________ Haryana.
